OVERVIEW:
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care runs for 23 weeks fulltime, including practical placement in a child care centre. Essential knowledge and skills will be assessed through written work, simulated exercises, workshops and mandatory industry placement.
In addition to training, students from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be able to receive language support (if required) to enable them to work through their notes and prepare for assessment.

PATHWAYS:
Students aspiring to continue with further study can progress to the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS:
Basic English language, literacy & numeracy skills.

Mixed on campus and online classes, with mandatory industry placement (minimum 160 hours).
